Stamford 2035 Comprehensive Plan

The Comprehensive Plan for the City of Stamford is a once-in-a-decade opportunity to take stock of the state of the city and ask fundamental questions about its future.

The Comprehensive Plan is a strategic document that creates a framework for achieving the city’s 2035 goals as set by its residents and government. The plan will be developed through an extensive community and stakeholder engagement process and serve as a North Star for Stamford’s development through 2035.

The Plan will be organized around 6 focus areas:

  • Sustainability and Resilience

  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

  • Housing

  • Economic Development

  • Mobility

  • Infrastructure

APRIL 9th, 2025

We are thrilled to announce My City Day, a district-wide, interactive event that gives students a voice in shaping Stamford’s future! This once-in-a-decade opportunity allows students to learn about city planning, share their ideas, and engage their families in the Stamford 2035 Comprehensive Plan, brought to you by My Architecture Workshops Inc.

 

Students will participate in school through a My City Google Classroom. Parents will participate at home using student chromebooks.
